9‑8‑8 Suicide Crisis Helpline – Call or Text 988
Available across Canada, this free and confidential service provides immediate, compassionate support for anyone experiencing emotional distress, thoughts of suicide, or a mental health crisis. Support is available in English and French, 24 hours a day.

Dial 211 or search their online database to find local mental health services, housing support, addiction services, food resources, and community programs near you. This is an excellent starting point if you aren’t sure where to turn.
Youth Support
Kids Help Phone
Canada’s only 24/7 e-mental health service for young people. Youth can call 1-800-668-6868 or text CONNECT to 686868 to speak with a trained responder. Live chat and online resources are also available.
This service is free, confidential, and available across Canada.
